Organisational questions

We will provide you with a selection of high-resolution photos and video clips in our online gallery in advance. You can use these free of charge for media purposes, stating the copyright details.

During the international german gymnastics festival, we will add new pictures to the gallery on a daily basis.

 

You can purchase further images at www.turnfestfotos.de.

Necessary for

  • Professional studio lights or static camera set-ups in competition or backstage areas
  • Drone recordings in the event area are not permitted

 

Application: Please send your authorisation request to presse@turnfest.de at least 72 hours before the start of filming - with a brief project description and equipment list.

The press accreditation for the International German Gymnastics Festival Leipzig 2025 is not valid for the European Gymnastics Championships. Press accreditations for the European Gymnastics Championships are issued exclusively by European Gymnastics. 

The accreditation process is closed.

The official ambassadors of the Turnfest Leipzig 2025:

Annabelle Tschech-Löffler

The gymnast from Borna is actively committed to inclusion in sport and shows how important movement is for all people. She is the first German medallist in artistic gymnastics Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2024. 

Margarita Kolosov

The world-class rhythmic gymnast took fourth place at the Olympic Games in Paris and won silver with the team at the 2023 World Championships in Valencia. 

Lukas Dauser

The Olympic silver medallist from Tokyo 2021 and world champion on parallel bars in 2023 is one of the most successful German artistic gymnasts and a great role model for the gymnastics community. 

 

In addition gymnast Jessica Schlegel (TuG Leipzig) and handball player Lucas Krzikalla (SC DHFK Leipzig) are local supporters of the Turnfest.

The participants of the gymnastics festival come from 19 different countries.

The oldest male participant is 95 years old, the oldest female participant is 91 years old.

The youngest male and female participant are both 4 months old.

The largest German delegation is a club travelling with 181 participants.
