Requirements for volunteers at Turnfest Leipzig 2025
Minimum age: 16 years
Minimum availability: 3 days (shifts)
Time period
Wednesday, May 28th, to Sunday, June 1st 2025 - Main days of the Gymnastics Festival Leipzig 2025
Saturday, May 24th, to Tuesday, May 27th 2025 – Setup, Preparation, Training in some areas
Monday/Tuesday, June 2nd/3rd 2025 – Dismantling, Handover and Farewell
Volunteer Areas
For the 44th International Gymnastics Festival we are looking for about 4.000 volunteers to support the event in 23 different areas: whether you want to support with the quarter teams in a school, with accreditation, in logistics, in marketing, in one of the many sports, in volunteer management itself or in one of the many other areas – we will try to accommodate all wishes as best as we can.

Accommodation in shared accommodation
We will provide shared accommodation with a limited capacity for volunteers traveling to Leipzig: first come – first served! (sleeping mat and sleeping bag) Volunteers who arrive with their club or gymnastics association and who are also taking part as competitors, will be accommodated in the schools designated to their clubs or associations.
If we notice a lack of capacities for volunteer accommodation, we will contact you. It is always safer for you to organize your own accommodation.

Volunteer-Tandem
Volunteering means teamwork. Everyone can and should be involved! That´s why we are looking for committed, sport-loving and team-oriented people with and without disabilities who want to actively support us.
We are particularly pleased to receive inclusive volunteer applications. Whether alone or in a team of two, we´ll find a suitable placement for everyone helping.
You can list your existing tandem partner when you apply , or you can simply state that you are available as a tandem. We´ll then try to bring tandems together.
