5 Million Members in Motion

The German Gymnastics Federation, as an association for "gymnastics and fitness," is the second largest association in German sports with almost 5 million members, around 18.000 clubs, 22 regional associations and 227 local divisions. It also has an independent youth organization, the German Gymnastics Youth. Overall, the DTB is the largest children's and youth association with over 1.8 million children and adolescents, the largest women's association with more than 2.2 million adult female members, and the largest seniors' association with over 1 million members who are over 50 years old.
