Ein Völkerballspiel in einer Halle

The Völkerball game is one of the oldest ball games that many people probably remember from physical education lessons at school.

In recent years, it has become a true team sport in the German Gymnastics Federation. The competitive game is played in two winning sets with points determining the winner. The objective of the game is to hit and eliminate players of the opposing team.

Völkerball is a suitable game not only for the joy of playing but also for practicing ball-catching in various situations and achieving quick, responsive hits. It is just as popular as a final game at the end of a gymnastics class as well as being played as a leisure tournament.
